To further strengthen our Global Product Marketing Department, we are searching for a Global Brand Manager to support our Fragrance category team. The role will report into the Global Marketing Director, Fragrances.

About the Product Marketing Department: Our Global Product Marketing department features some of the most inspiring and talented professionals in this field. Split into 6 category teams, we focus on developing Oriflame’s new and exciting global brand concepts for our markets and regions around the world covering Skin Care, Wellness, Fragrances, Colour Cosmetics, Personal & Hair Care and Accessories.

You will develop new fragrances that will be sold in over 60 markets across the globe, including:
  • Strategy Responsible for developing and implementing brand/tier/segment strategy and for reaching brand targets and KPI’s. Supports the category strategy development.
  • Concept Creation – Create commercially strong product concepts for new fragrance developments.
  • New Product Development (NPD) – Manage NPD projects from start to finish, working alongside packaging, procurement, fragrance development and R&D.
  • Product Communication – Prepare and manage communication briefings alongside the global brand communication team.
  • Business Cases – Prepare product business cases for new launches to ensure commercial viability.
  • Sales Performance – Monitor and analyse brand/product performance and sales with regions.
  • Brand Strategy – Support in implementing brand strategy to reach targets and KPI’s.
  • Consumer Focus – identify a clear and relevant consumer insight and to build a strong reason to believe and launch
  • Business understanding – responsible for boosting business KPIs, challenging products forecasts and influencing markets and NPD team to increase sales and reduce costs. Need of having a holistic view of the business, understanding how products KPIs will influence positively the overall brand/ category KPIs.
  • Creativity & Innovation – need to be connected and have the knowledge how to read trends to transform them into products opportunity. Keep updated glance on innovation and new technologies
  • Entrepreneurship / Ownership – feeling of Brand Ownership, leading the business as you own, understanding that the success of other areas means the brand success. Responsible for Marketing activities and accountable for other areas.
  • Strategic Thinking – responsible for having and developing a medium- and long-term view of the brand and its impact on the total category. Able to write official strategy documents and plan 5Y KPIs projections.
You have a passion for fragrances and the world of international marketing. You enjoy both the creative and commercial side of marketing. You have a positive attitude and see opportunities from challenges. You are pro-active, have good time management and prioritization skills, and can multi-task multiple projects at once. You always keep an open-mind, are easy to approach and you have a great ability to collaborate with people. You are a self leading person that take accountability and responsibility University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent Regional experience or fragrance development experience is required 5+ years of experience within Marketing, preferably from an international environment +3 years of experience in New Product Development (Fragrance experience desirable.) Be fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is appreciated
