To further strengthen our Global Product Marketing Department, we are searching for a Global Fragrance Development Manager to support our Fragrance category team. The role will report into the Global Marketing Director, Fragrances.

About the Global Product Marketing Department

Our Global Product Marketing department features some of the most inspiring and talented professionals in this field. Split into 6 category teams, we focus on developing Oriflame’s new and exciting global brand concepts for our markets and regions around the world covering Skin Care, Wellness, Fragrances, Colour Cosmetics, Personal & Hair Care and Accessories.

As a Global Fragrance Development Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Fragrance Development – fragrance briefings, olfactive development and selection for all new fine fragrance launches in partnership with global product marketing and the global NPD team.
  • Fragrance Innovation – Lead fragrance innovation pipeline with marketing and R&D to strengthen innovation, claims and novelty within Fine Fragrance.
  • Global Olfactive Portfolio Management – Support the global marketing team in reviewing global & regional gaps & opportunities and building a long term olfactive roadmap for Fine Fragrance.
  • Fragrance Claims Communication – Partner R&D and Global Brand & Communication to ensure claim communication accuracy and efficacy for fragrance communication.
  • Fragrance House Key Contact – Key contact for the Fragrance Houses including coordination of briefings, workshops, trend presentations and innovation sessions.
  • Fragrance Ambassador – Work closely with Global Sales Support and Global Training to promote Fragrances and increase awareness amongst our brand partners.
  • 2 – 4 Years experience within fragrance development and olfactive evaluation.
  • Experience with building and implementing olfactive vision and partnering both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of global & regional olfactive specificities and the latest olfactive trends.
  • Experience working within a fast paced, international matrix organization is desirable.
  • Qualifications from a perfumery school is desirable.
  • Fluent in English is essential. French is desirable.
  • More than anything, you need to be passionate about fragrances.
  • You have a passion for fragrances and the world of international marketing.
  • You are innovative, curious and creative.
  • You have a positive attitude and see opportunities from challenges.
  • You are pro-active, have good time management and prioritization skills, and can multi-task multiple projects at once.
  • You always keep an open-mind, are easy to approach and you have a great ability to collaborate with people.
