As Global Inventory Specialist you will be responsible for Oriflame’s inventory policy management; this is a key role to identify and set optimal inventory policies per location and per product to optimize inventory and service levels. Identification, cross-teams agreements and management of extra buffers to mitigate supply and demand volatility are important components of everyday activities in this role on top of maintaining JDA safety stock parameters based on changes in business environment and regional requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the Demand and Supply meeting aiming at analyzing supply and demand variations vs. forecast and taking corrective actions afterwards. In your daily work you will not only cooperate with global functions but also regional and local operation’s representatives around the Oriflame world.
  • Identify, agree and manage extra buffers to mitigate supply and demand volatility
  • Monitoring and reporting Statistical Safety Stock maintenance
  • Monitoring inventory development
  • Participation in the Supply Chain Projects as Inventory representative
  • Providing valuable input from the safety stock creation perspective
  • Development of new processes and revision of existing ones from the effectivity perspective
  • At least 1 year experience in inventory management, data analysis, statistics, supply chain or related field
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel is compulsory
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent degree) in Data Analysis, Engineering or Business, with strong academic records
  • Knowledge in Integrated Business Intelligence Suite (e.g. IBM Cognos BI) is beneficial but not compulsory
  • Knowledge in ERP/MRP/DRP systems (e.g. IFS, JDA) is beneficial but not compulsory
  • Knowledge in data warehousing, SQL is beneficial but not compulsory
