As an important member of the Global Procurement organization you are responsible for the Procurement deliverables in the New Product Development process in collaboration with the cross-functional team, ensuring right sourcing decisions are made for the product launches. You will lead the procurement activities across certain wellness commodity groups in finished goods and raw materials globally, in alignment with agreed strategies and business plans.

As a team member within a matrix organization you are working closely with colleagues from other functions such as NPD, Formulation, Marketing, Manufacturing. You will play an important role within the team, both through supplier management to improve assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and sustainability for the product portfolio as well as working on specific projects. You are responsible for ensuring that the right supplier base is in place meeting the needs of the business.

  • Key contributor within Oriflame’s Global NPD process, securing right sourcing solution and cost for new products through close cross-functional collaboration. Early involvement in the product development process ensuring product cost is optimized. Ensure procurement deliverables in NPD are met, from early procurement and sourcing input, to cost estimations and final product costing.
  • Responsible for supplier negotiations and RFQ process for new products within your commodity. Responsible for delivering year on year cost savings and improved cost levels through negotiation, value engineering initiatives and by increased competition in the supplier base.
  • Ownership of finished goods and raw materials suppliers within designated commodity groups including supplier performance management, risk assessment, contracts and managing requirements towards the suppliers.
  • Contribution to improvements and efficiencies within the Procurement NPD process as well as the Strategic Procurement processes. Responsible for input to the category tooling and capex budget.
  • Responsible for leading sourcing projects within the commodity through identification, approval and introduction of new suppliers in alignment with agreed strategies and business plans.
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • 10 years of professional experience in Procurement or R&D or Manufacturing.
  • Experience from nutrition, food, pharma industry is mandatory.
  • Experience in global position(s) or cooperation with global functions would be an advantage.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent team player, dynamic and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership or project management experience a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with IT- and procurement systems and processes
  • Very good English skills.
