Purpose of the Role
In your role, you will conduct a wide scope of commercial planning activities and tasks aimed at constant improvement of commercial planning KPIs. You will setup Excess targets for the markets to ensure healthy Excess level. You will Identify and collaborate new methods, technics and tool to support the regions in minimizing excess inventory.
Responsibilities of the Role
• Participate in the global commercial strategies’ development and follow up their implementation with the markets to ensure a constant improvement of KPIs’.
• Establish and drive Commercial Campaign and Excess planning best practice sharing process between markets and Global functions.
• Be center of expertise in Campaign and Excess planning by conducting training and providing constant support on daily basis.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Represent Global Excess Team in the Product Life Cycle Management Process / SKU Rationalization Process / Forum (NPD Gates) agreeing: a product replacement and/or end of life strategy and/or delaying product launch that optimizes company’s profitability (Excess costs vs. new sales)
• Prepare materials for decision making in the IBM/IBP process.
• Establish and maintain transparent and efficient HUB excess planning process
Background, Education and Qualifications for the Role
• A Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing
• Min 10 years’ experience working in commercial marketing and/or sales support
• Min 8 years’ experience in managing strategy implementation and/or project implementation
• Min 8 years’ experience working with data analysis and translation into recommendations and actions
• Experience in IBM/IBP cycle
• Industry Experience FMCG, Retail and/or Direct Sales
• Fluency in English & Polish
• Strong analytical capabilities, able to work with large amounts of data.
• Eye for details and ability to package those details into recommendations that will help to improve business KPIs.
• You will have to be commercially focused and results driven with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
