Pricing Specialist is responsible for:

1) executing pricing and merchandising strategy for Oriflame products for the defined markets

2) cooperation with respective markets’ local teams regarding pricing

3) ensuring competitive data availability in system and providing regular analytics in this area

· Executing pricing and merchandising strategy

· Setting both regular and merchandised price in the form of price levels

· Setting prices for new products with accordance to global guidelines for designated markets

Executing price revision process on time based on agreed budget directions taking into account:

o Global pricing & merchandising strategy

o Price positioning vs competitors

o Financial targets: sales/units/margin

o Internal price elasticities

o Internal price positioning structure between categories/brands/products

o Commercial strategies/priorities

· If necessary prepare various scenarios with recommendation to deliver needed KPIs

· Taking ownership behind whole process till the end including follow-up with:

o Commercial Team on implementation

o Forecasting Team on units

o Supply Chain on feasibility to deliver units (if applicable)

 

Performing operational tasks connected with pricing at campaign level

· Finalize prices in the catalogue as pe agreed process and timings (applicable only for selected Venture markets)

 

Cooperation with respective markets regarding pricing

· If necessary involve local markets (Lead and Scale focus) into pricing process to:

o Provide additional price benchmark information

o Provide local commercial perspective to the (re)pricing initiatives and projects

o Educate markets on existing price competitors reporting if necessary

o Provide needed input in form of PPT slides update regarding pricing: positioning & initiatives for various business meeting involving local market

Competitive data availability and analysis

· Ensuring competition data gathered from external vendors are available in Oriflame systems

· Conducing regular (bi-monthly) and ad-hoc analysis for Oriflame price positioning in the market and sharing findings with recommendation to the management of the Pricing & RGM Team

· If necessary organizing with cooperation with local markets additional competitive pricing information or doing own data collection using available internet sources

· Showing proactive position towards recommendation to improve financial KPIs pursuing pricing opportunities for both price down and price up based on conducted analysis

Pricing Specialist works with big data on daily basis, supporting pricing governance process which requires attention to details and at the same time ability to see the broader picture, good time-management skills, and ability to work under tough time frames. Pricing Specialist works in close collaboration with global Commercial Marketing departments and local market teams.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

 

· Strong analytical skills: ability to work with big data, yet leading to clear conclusions and recommendations

· Attention to details

· Good communication skills (written and verbal)

· Very good presentation skills to be able to present complex analysis with clear take-away points and recommendation

· Understanding of cosmetic market

· Basic business commercial sense

· Good time-management skills

· Ability to work in multinational teams with various functions involved

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Business, statistics, finance, mathematics or similar
  • 2 years of working experience in analytical function, preferably from international company
  • Oriflame experience would be an asset
  • Very good knowledge or MS Office with Excel on advanced level
  • Fluent English spoken and writen
