Purpose of the Role
The Subcontract Coordinator will be the R&D liaison with external finish good suppliers to assist in the development and delivery robust products that fit quality, performance and launch expectations of the key Oriflame brands
Maintaining the integrity and accuracy technical documentation for both formulation and raw materials for external cosmetic products ensuring compliance with cosmetic regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities of the Role
– Coordinating the creation of the R&D technical brief and issuing to the external suppliers to agreed time-lines, ensuring the desired time-lines are being hit
– Responsible for the delivery of projects in accordance with defined timings, raising any concerns/risks to line manager
– Responsible for the initial review and assessment of incoming Technical formulation and raw material documentation.
– Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of technical documentation and tracking documentation status.
– Processing the associated documents as per agreed internal processes and procedures.
– Liaise with stakeholders to assist with maintaining governance of raw material data available on document management systems.
– Operate within key processes and governance, highlighting options for continuous improvement.
– Basic awareness of technologies companies & trends within own area and contributes to an overall relationship with external finished good suppliers
– Basic awareness of NPD process and formulation development requirements such as sensory, performance and shelf testing to ensure the appropriate product solutions are delivered
Background, Education and Qualifications
– Degree in scientific disciple – ideally chemistry
– Experience in regulatory affairs, product development or pharmaceutical
– Firsthand experience in Cosmetics is an advantage
– Experience in a similar role desirable
– Background in technical documentation and administration
– High attention to detail and accuracy
– Proficient in document management systems
